As we all know Madisyn is a little obsessed with cooking and watching online cooking shows. Often she will ask me things like "are you making that into equal portions?" or " do you need any parchment paper today?" But one day when asked what she wanted for lunch this was her response "I'm going to be brave today and try a new combination of sandwich!" Which she didn't.
With the weddings we have been attending this month Madisyn has been trying to learn the names of the temples. She knows Ryan and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple, she wants to be married in the San Diego Temple, and Jonathan and Janee were married in the 'Temple-nogos Temple". She is also still very busy planning her wedding. We have been trying to teach her that she can not marry a girl, especially in the temple, her reply, you may ask? "It's okay. My fairy Godmother will come and marry me and Tayrn in the San Diego Temple and then she will turn Taryn into a prince!" I guess she has that covered, maybe we will try the 'can't marry your cousin angle'...
Maci finally has a small pebbles-like hair do, though Tryna says its only "mom cute". She will fold her arms and bow her head when you tell her its time for the prayer, and act like a gorilla on command. She is talking quite well, but nothing more than a few words at a time...until this month. She was whining and crying for a cookie on the counter and I would not give it to her. She was very insistent. Finally she pulled out her binkie, tugged on my leg, pointed to the cookies and said "I want that mama!" It was so cute I gave her two cookies.
Yes - she still loves to play in the toilet.
A busy month! A wedding, Taryn graduated from Preschool, another wedding, Taryn's birthday, 2 baby showers for Cassie, and I got called to the relief Society.

Madisyn has been very busy this month planning her wedding. She will be married to Taryn in the San Diego Temple (apparently) very soon. They will both wear pink dresses and hold pink flowers. To say she is excited would be an understatement. She has also informed me that her middle name is not Lynn, it is shorty, and she will not be getting baptised, she will "just go for a swim".
Maci had her 15 month appointment this month. 16 lbs 12 oz - not even on the charts, 29 1/4 inches long, 20%. She had gained just under one pound and less than one inch the past three months. I promise I feed her, she eats more than Madisyn at every meal (which I guess is not saying much). She is trying to say "go" and "kitty " this month.
Easter was really fun with both of them. Madisyn got up early and wanted to run right downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Maci refused to use her Easter basket and just tried to carry all her goodies in her arms. My family and Penny's family came for dinner, it was a perfect day except for the part when we ran out of propane for the grill in the middle of cooking all the meat.
